This role focuses on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining medium- and heavy-duty diesel vehicles in a fast-moving, team-oriented environment. Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic work, maintenance, and repairs on medium- and heavy-duty diesel vehicles
  • Review repair orders, inspect vehicles, and determine necessary work procedures
  • Follow established checklists to ensure essential components and safety items are inspected
  • Adjust, repair, or replace parts including protective guards, safety devices, and related components
  • Test-drive vehicles to verify repairs and overall performance
  • Properly tag and process warranty parts
  • Stay current with Ford training, technical bulletins, and service updates
  • Communicate professionally with customers and teammates to support a positive service experience
  • Complete all repairs according to safety standards, OEM guidelines, and dealership procedures
  • Maintain a clean, organized service bay
  • Protect customer property and ensure vehicles are returned in clean condition
  • Support production goals and maintain consistent service quality
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by Service Management
Qualifications
  • Diesel technician experience or certification required
  • Prior dealership or fleet repair experience preferred;
    Ford experience is a plus
  • ASE certification is a plus
  • Must supply own tools
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to quality service
  • Team-focused attitude with strong communication skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work efficiently with minimal oversight
