The Business Solutions Specialist, US Trade is responsible for advocating for change across the entire organization by identifying opportunities for improvement at the corporate level, with a special focus on US Brokerage, Compliance & Logistics. The Business Solutions Specialist acts as a liaison between operational departments and technical teams to design, implement, and support tailored strategies, software, or process improvements that enhance efficiency and achieve corporate goals.

- Work alongside the U.S. Operations team to evaluate the impact of new or updated regulations, ensuring systems are accurately updated or adjusted to maintain regulatory compliance.
- Drive innovation by guiding the team in developing strategic solutions that respond effectively to evolving trade conditions and regulatory landscapes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs or challenges, define project requirements, and develop methods to improve the effectiveness of business systems.
- Ensure clear communication and alignment between stakeholders, development teams, and project teams to effectively manage expectations, risks, and dependencies.
- Develop, test, and implement specialized products, software, or process improvements to improve efficiency across the organization.
- Guide users & teams through business transformation
- Diploma/Degree in Business Systems, Information Technology, Business Analysis, Project Management, or similar discipline.
- Minimum 5 years U.S. customs brokerage, ABI software, CATAIR, consulting or similar professional services required.
- Strong knowledge of US Customs Section 232 and 301 tariffs and exclusions and PGA requirements.
- US Customs Broker’s License preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills, with the ability to balance competing priorities and make informed decisions in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to communicate in both technical and user‑friendly language.
- Familiarity with Agile tools and technologies, such as Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms an asset.
- Must be legally eligible to work for the Company at all times.
