Valley of the Sun Home Healthcare, LLC., is the leading and largest Home Health Agency in Maricopa County, Arizona with more than 1,000 patients to date. We provide home health services, hospice care, and elderly care services. Job Duties:Lead and oversee accounting and financial operations for a multi-entity home health services organization, including regulated healthcare revenue cycles, intercompany transactions, and
subsidiary reporting, while recommending and implementing process improvements aligned with healthcare compliance requirements.
Direct internal controls, audit readiness, and compliance functions in a highly regulated
healthcare environment, including oversight of Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement processes, payer
audits, cost reporting, tax planning, and lender covenant compliance.
Oversee and/or review the preparation of corporate and subsidiary financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll accruals, and revenue recognition related to home health services.
Manage and supervise intercompany billings, cost allocations, and receivables among affiliated healthcare and management entities, ensuring compliance with transfer pricing principles, service agreements, and healthcare regulatory considerations.
Direct the preparation and consolidation of financial statements for multiple operating entities and service lines, including patient-care entities, management companies, and related real estate or support entities.
Oversee financial onboarding and offboarding of newly acquired or transitioned home health service lines, including system integration, chart-of-accounts mapping, compliance setup, and
internal control implementation.
Administer and lead the accounting team, including recruitment, training, and supervision of accounting professionals, with responsibility for establishing role-based workflows, review
standards, and segregation of duties consistent with healthcare compliance expectations.
Oversee annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and cash-flow projections for home health operations, incorporating payer mix, reimbursement timing, caregiver labor costs, regulatory changes, and working-capital requirements.
Oversee and direct treasury management strategy for the organization, including cash management, banking relationships, credit facilities, and liquidity planning across operating and holding entities supporting home health services.
Lead and manage healthcare-specific accounting and operational systems initiatives, including
optimization of platforms supporting billing, payroll, caregiver management, and financial reporting to improve accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
Establish, document, and maintain formal accounting policies and procedures related to
healthcare revenue recognition, payroll and contractor payments, intercompany services, internal controls, and financial reporting.
Ensure ongoing compliance with federal, state, and local reporting requirements applicable to home health providers, including tax filings, employment-related filings, healthcare regulatory reporting, and licensing-related financial documentation.
Interface with banks, auditors, tax advisors, and external consultants to support financing, audit, compliance, and strategic initiatives specific to healthcare operations
Qualifications Needed:- MS Accounting Science, with 1 month training on Financial Management Module on ERP
System, with 2 years accounting experience
