Vertical Construction Superintendent isresponsibleforoverseeingtheconstructionofverticalstructures,suchasbuildingsandotherverticalprojects.
Thisroleinvolvesmanagingtheon-siteconstructionteam,coordinatingmultiplesubcontractors,andensuringthattheprojectadherestoconstructioncodesandsafetyprotocols.
- Lead and understand all aspects of civil construction field operations
- Works closely with Project Manager to assist with job scheduling and appropriate staffing needs
- Planning and coordination of all labor, materials, & equipment required to complete a project
- Monitor field productivity to ensure work is completed in a cost effective and professional manner
- Professionally communicate with Project Manager and Subcontractors
- Assist in the hiring, training and evaluation of new team members
- Create and maintain good working relationships with all employees
- Interact with jurisdictional Inspectors, Architects, Owners, and others
- Comply with all OSHA and company policies, procedures, and standards of safety
- Perform other duties as assigned
- 5+ years of construction superintendent experience
- Multi Family or Hotel experience
- Experience managing vertical construction
- Valid Driver's License
- Acceptable MVR in accordance with Fisher's Company Vehicle Program policy
- Strong organizational and communication skills; must have the ability to give clear directions and instructions
- Ability to complete work tasks under various adverse weather conditions including heat above 100 degrees, cold, and rain
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and government background check
