Front Desk Administrator – Cornerstone Dental PLLC
Cornerstone Dental PLLC, a premier dental care provider, is excited to announce an opening for a dedicated Front Desk Administrator. As the front face of our office, this role is crucial in maintaining the seamless operation of our daily activities. This is a full-time position designed for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment and are committed to exceptional client service.
The position is onsite at our facility and is not eligible for remote work.
- Manage the scheduling of appointments using Dentrix software to ensure optimal workflow and patient satisfaction.
- Handle patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
- Conduct light treatment planning and provide administrative support in treatment coordination.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk area.
- Answer phone calls, respond to patient inquiries, and confirm upcoming appointments.
- Document and update patient records in the dental practice management software with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Process patient payments and handle billing inquiries.
- Collaborate with dental staff to maintain schedule accuracy and address any adjustments or patient needs.
- Assist in training new staff members on front desk operations as required.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to team goals aimed at improving patient care and office efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the practice.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a dental office front desk role, ideally with proficiency in Dentrix software.
- High school diploma or equivalent; further certification in office management or a related field is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of managing sensitive patient information discreetly and with empathy.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, able to manage multiple tasks and stay organized in a busy environment.
- Proven customer service skills, with an ability to engage positively with patients and team members.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to unforeseen circumstances.
- Knowledge of dental terminology and understanding of dental treatment procedures is advantageous.
- Basic understanding of billing practices and insurance-related procedures in a dental context.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite, email, and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning.
