Job Summary

Assists students through intrusive academic advisement. Advises students regarding degree and graduation requirements, various certificate programs, university transfer requirements, academic and financial aid probation/suspension status. May evaluate transcripts, equivalency of transfer credit and compute GPA's. May assist with course registration. Assists students with program planning, educational planning and course selection. Assists students with course placement through interpretation of institutional assessment measures.

Maintains student files regarding advisement, educational planning and retention. Participates in cross college collaboration in the process of student development, retention and completion.

Essential Functions

30% - Provides 1:1 case-management style advising and support services in-person, hybrid, and
virtually to ensure successful progress toward degree completion in assigned Fields of Interest (FOI) and/or specialty student populations. Monitors advisement and enrollment progress of the assigned cohort of students. Guides students on goal…
