Local Contract ESS Clinical is actively hiring Special Education Teachers to support students within Washington Elementary School District (WESD) in Phoenix, Arizona for the  school year. W2 Contracts starting at $53/hr Responsibilities Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Provide specialized academic instruction aligned with Arizona state standards Conduct progress monitoring and maintain accurate student records Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings Utilize evidence-based instructional strategies and behavioral interventions Support student social, emotional, behavioral, and academic growth Maintain compliance with federal, state, and district special education regulations Communicate regularly with parents, guardians, and school personnel Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment Qualifications Arizona Certification Requirements Candidates must possess or be eligible to obtain:
Valid Arizona Special Education Teaching Certificate issued by the Arizona Department of Education (ADE) Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (or ability to obtain) AND one of the following:
