This position involves coaching the Flagline/Color Guard program, providing instruction on performance arts activities, and ensuring compliance with safety standards and district policies.

• Certificate verifying completion of the NFHS online "Band Safety" course
• Certificate verifying completion of the NFHS online "Concussion in Sports – What You Need to Know" course
• Current CPR certification or completion of the NFHS online "CPR and AED training" course
• Certificate verifying completion of the NFHS online "Heat Illness Prevention" course
• An Arizona Teaching Certificate, Arizona Coaching Certificate, or a content area related degree
• Knowledge of essential skills, techniques, rules, and safety concerns for the Performing Arts Activity to be coached
• Skill in communicating with all stakeholders
• In depth knowledge of the rules set out by ABODA and Peoria Unified School District #11, and the ability to advise staff as needed
• Attendance of mandatory school district meetings and aligned trainings

• Must possess or obtain an Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Must be able to pass a background clearance check
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an Arizona driver's license, as driving students to and from competitions may be required
• May be required to work outside normal working hours
• May be required to travel to perform work functions
• Must foster a sense of camaraderie among students through team building, fundraising, and service projects
