The Adjunct Professor will instruct BIB
131 Discipleship I . Instructors are responsible for the preparation and deliveryofallcoursematerialsincludingthesyllabus,lecture,andothercoursedeliverypreparation,as well as keeping attendance records.

This role also requires a comprehensive understanding of and commitment to the unique Christian missionandvisionofACUto Transform Culture with Truth ,andtheabilitytoadvancethatmissionand vision through classroom instruction and person-to-person mentorship and discipleship.

• Applicants must possessa master’sor Ph.D.degree withan emphasis in Bible, Theology, or Christian Ministries OR have a pastoral recommendation from their home church indicating the ability and experience in leading a small group.

Typical Duties:

• Supervision and instruction of students in classroom settings
• Evaluation of subject matter taught and maintenance of student records
• Participation in departmental and university-wide meetings
• Provide spiritual support and prayer to students and staff

• Requiresworkingonacomputer,PCorlaptop;abilitytoworktheseandofficerelated equipment and the abilitytoread,write,see,hear,andspeak clearly
• Requires the ability to stand, walk, bend, reach or sit for long periods of time
• May be required to lift objects weighing up to 20 pounds
