School Behavior Technician
Up to $24/hr | School-Based | Glendale, AZ Support students during the school day while building hands-on experience in behavior support, special education, and ABA-based strategies. Depending on the assignment, you may work 1:1 with a student or support multiple students in a classroom setting.

What You'll Do
- Support students with behavioral, academic, and social goals
- Implement strategies outlined in IEPs, 504 plans, and behavior support plans
- Use positive reinforcement and other approved behavior-support techniques
- Provide 1:1, small-group, or classroom-based assistance
- Help students transition between activities and classroom settings
- Monitor behavior and collect data on student progress
- Assist BCBAs and school staff with observations and assessments
- Support students during classroom and non-classroom activities
- Maintain accurate service logs and documentation
- Assist with personal care when required, including toileting, diapering, and hygiene
- Help maintain a safe, organized learning environment
What You'll Need
- High school diploma or equivalent
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association
- Prior ABA, behavioral health, childcare, or school-based experience is preferred but not required
- Ability to remain calm and follow behavior-support procedures during challenging situations
- Reliable transportation to assigned school sites
- Ability to meet assignment-specific physical requirements, including lifting up to 50 pounds and assisting students as needed
