Glendale Community College is seeking a student-focused Program Analyst-Career Navigator to help students build pathways into high-demand careers in Engineering and Advanced Manufacturing. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference by guiding students from their first connection with GCC through program completion and into the workforce.
As a primary point of contact, the Career Navigator provides personalized support with admissions, financial aid, registration, scholarships, career planning, college resources, and retention. Using a case management approach, the Navigator builds relationships with students, tracks their progress, celebrates milestones, and helps them overcome barriers that could prevent them from reaching their educational and career goals.
The position also connects GCC with the broader community by coordinating outreach, tours, hiring events, and employer partnerships. Working closely with faculty, college leadership, Student Affairs, industry partners, and district teams, the Career Navigator helps strengthen enrollment, student success, and employment outcomes. The role uses CRM and student information systems to manage student caseloads, document services, analyze outcomes, and support institutional and grant reporting requirements.
This is a short-term (specially funded) position with an anticipated end date of June 30, 2027; the possibility for extension or continuation is dependent on executive approval and budget availability.
