Position Overview

As a Regional Banker/Teller within PNC’s Retail organization, you will be based in the Phoenix East market. PNC is an in‑office company that fosters a collaborative and supportive culture. This role requires working in the branch environment and participating in conversation with customers during teller and lobby interactions. PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position.

Job Responsibilities
  • Manage the customer experience by identifying opportunities to improve financial well‑being and create loyalty while increasing share of wallet.
  • Engage in proactive sales and service activities, identifying referral opportunities through outbound calling, service to sales, teller interactions, appointment setting, and effective lobby engagement.
  • Collaborate with ecosystem partners to grow customers’ share of wallet.
  • Position PNC solutions to drive new revenue and customer loyalty.
  • Drive proactive sales conversations through internal and outbound interactions, delivering a full PNC conversation with every client interaction to identify appropriate solutions.
  • Leverage ecosystem partnerships to acquire, expand and retain relationships.
  • Create customer loyalty and grow customer share of wallet through a differentiated experience.
  • Perform lobby engagement activities to connect with customers and position PNC products to meet their needs.
  • Educate customers on options for managing financial transactions by leveraging technology, tools, and resources.
  • Apply product and procedural knowledge to identify, mitigate and solve customer problems effectively.
  • Manage risk through adherence to all policies and procedures, demonstrating sound judgment within established limits.
  • Demonstrate heightened scrutiny to identify and avoid loss.
  • Ensure teller and branch daily operations and maintenance transactions are completed efficiently and accurately.
Qualifications
  • 1+ years of related banking or retail experience. A university degree is not required, but product knowledge and related experience are essential.
  • Strong customer‑focused mindset with ability to create customized solutions.
  • Ability to assess and manage risks in alignment with PNC’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
  • Effective communication and problem‑solving skills.
  • Strong sales aptitude and ability to leverage technology and ecosystem partnerships.
  • Strong time‑management and ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of banking products, digital tools, and regulatory requirements.
