Position Summary
Established aviation company seeking an early-career professional with approximately 2–4 years of experience in government contracting, proposal development, aviation administration, contract administration, procurement, program support, or a related field.
This position provides hands‑on exposure to federal contracting, Department of War programs, aviation operations, regulatory compliance, and proposal development, with opportunities for continued professional growth and advancement.
Key Responsibilities Government Contracts- Review RFPs, RFQs, solicitations, contract modifications, statements of work, and related procurement documents.
- Identify and track contract requirements, deliverables, deadlines, reporting requirements, option periods, and milestones.
- Maintain accurate contract files, correspondence, modifications, and supporting documentation.
- Assist with responses to government correspondence.
- Support preparation of government proposals and submissions.
- Review solicitation requirements and develop compliance matrices and submission checklists.
- Draft, edit, and proofread technical, management, administrative, and past‑performance content.
- Support proposal schedules, document control, formatting, pricing documentation, and final submission preparation.
- Ensure proposal materials are accurate, consistent, and compliant with solicitation requirements.
- Assist with documentation supporting AS9110C quality‑management and FAA Part 145 Repair Station operations, as applicable.
- Support government audits and inspections.
- Approximately 2–4 years of relevant professional experience.
- Familiarity with FAR and DFARS requirements.
- Strong written communication, document‑development, organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively across organizational levels.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and related Office applications.
- Ability to obtain and maintain any U.S. Government security clearance required for assigned programs.
- Experience supporting a Department of War or other federal government contractor.
- Government proposal‑writing experience.
- Aviation maintenance, logistics, repair, overhaul, flight operations, or related aviation experience.
- Military or military aviation experience.
- Coursework or training in government contracting, proposal management, procurement, or contract administration.
Annual Salary: $80,000–$95,000
Starting compensation is based on relevant experience, education, government‑contracting exposure, aviation experience, security‑clearance status, and demonstrated skills.
