Arizona College’s pharmacy technician undergraduate diploma program is designed to provide you with both the education and the real‑world experience needed to become a pharmacy technician.

Our pharmacy technician program takes 3 quarters (34‑weeks) to complete. After finishing the on‑campus portion, students take an off‑campus clinical externship in the last session of the program. Lecture & lab pharmacy technician courses are taught by experienced faculty at our Glendale and mesa campuses.

Job Duties

In addition to behind‑the‑counter tasks (e.g. mixing, compounding, and dispensing of prescription drugs), pharmacy technicians require medical, administrative, and customer service skills.
