We are currently seeking a temporary, contracted SLP for our Glendale clinic location on an as-needed basis. Our AAC program is expanding, and we welcome team members who are passionate about supporting communication in innovative ways.
Role Overview- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and feeding disorders
- Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans to address areas of need using evidenced-based approaches and individualized therapeutic strategies
- Closely monitor and document progress, adjusting intervention as necessary to support optimal outcomes
- Engage parents and caregivers in the therapeutic process, providing education and resources to support the client s progress and development
- Collaborate with a team of professionals, including occupational and physical therapists, to ensure a comprehensive approach to care
- Complete succinct documentation of services in a timely manner
- Active speech-language pathologist license through Arizona Department of Health Services
- Valid Arizona Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card (LVP) or the ability to obtain clearance card
- At least 1 year of Pediatric experience
- Experience or interest in early intervention and treating developmental disabilities
- Passion for continuous learning and development of professional skills and knowledge
- Positive and professional demeanor, with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience or interest in feeding intervention is strongly preferred, but not required
- Experience with AAC is a plus!
- Bilingualism is a plus!

Working ConditionsThis position requires intermittent standing, lifting, kneeling, and sitting. In addition, this position may include working closely with clients who have mental, physical, and/or behavioral diagnoses and may be verbally or physically combative.
