Role Overview

As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for:

  • Evaluating and treating fine motor skills, sensory processing, feeding, and activities of daily living
  • Developing and implementing individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
  • Monitoring progress and adjusting interventions to support optimal outcomes
  • Engaging parents and caregivers by providing education and strategies for home support
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team including speech-language and physical therapists
  • Completing timely and accurate documentation of services
  • Providing mentorship and supervision to students or assistants when applicable
Qualifications
  • Master's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
  • Active occupational therapist license through the Arizona Board of Occupational Therapy
  • Valid Arizona Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card (LVP) or ability to obtain clearance
  • Experience or interest in early intervention and developmental disabilities
  • Passion for professional growth and continuing education
  • Positive and professional demeanor with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience or interest in feeding intervention is strongly preferred
  • Experience with AAC is a plus
  • Bilingualism is a plus
Working Conditions

This position requires intermittent standing, lifting, kneeling, and sitting. The role may involve working closely with clients who have developmental, behavioral, or physical diagnoses and who may occasionally exhibit challenging behaviors.

Salary

$80,000 - $90,000 per year
