Christian Clinical Supervisor; LPC, LMFT or LCSW

Restored Life Counseling is hiring an Arizona-licensed clinician qualified to provide clinical supervision (LPC, LMFT or LCSW) to do three things: carry a clinical caseload, supervise our pre-licensure clinicians, and build a service line around your own clinical depth.

You would be the second clinical supervisor in the practice. Today supervision depends on one person. That is the problem you are being hired to solve, and it means your supervisory judgment will be relied on rather than second-guessed.

All three licenses are welcome. An LMFT can be assigned anywhere on our supervision roster, and that flexibility weighs in an LMFT candidate's favor.

We provide affordable, quality, distinctively Christian mental health care to the Phoenix metro, and each of those three words costs something. Affordable: we take insurance and keep a sliding-scale and scholarship lane, so that cost is not the reason someone goes without care. Quality: we measure outcomes rather than assume them, supervision here is real supervision, documentation is written to a standard that survives review, and we pursue specialty certification from the bodies that set the standard in their fields (IITAP, EMDRIA, ICEEFT).

Distinctively Christian: not a label applied to otherwise ordinary care, but a clinical model that proceeds from a Christian understanding of what a person is, what has gone wrong, and what healing means.

Our faith is the fuel for our service, not a prerequisite for anyone's care. We serve every client, inside the faith and outside it, with the same excellence and the same respect.

Alongside the clinical work we are building research, professional training, and publishing for ordinary people, because affordable care that rests on goodwill lasts only as long as the donations do. Most of that is not built yet: today this is a clinical job, and your pay is what the compensation section describes and nothing else.

You must be able to affirm and work within our statement of faith. That is a requirement of this position, not a preference, and it carries through to the annual references described under ANNUAL STANDING below. Please read that section before you apply.

• - Carry a caseload of individual, couples and family clients, in person and by telehealth.
• - Complete documentation within the practice's timeliness standard, and participate in case consultation.

• - Provide clinical supervision to our pre-licensure clinicians (graduate interns, LACs, LMSWs and LAMFTs), up to ten supervises.
• - Deliver and document supervision to the standard the Arizona Board requires, in a form that will survive review, and keep your own supervisor qualification current without a lapse.
• - Review and co-sign supervisee documentation.
• - Carry directive clinical authority over the cases you supervise. When you say a case needs to change direction, be transferred, or be escalated, that is a decision, not a suggestion.

• - Build a clinical service line around your own depth: intake and screening approach, clinical pathway, outcome expectations, and the supervision standard for other clinicians taking that work.
• - Couples and family work is the line we most want built, and an LMFT candidate should expect it. If your depth is elsewhere - trauma, addiction, adolescents, grief - tell us, and we will build that line instead.

You will not inherit a caseload and a supervision load on day one. We build both with you: your own caseload from our referral flow and your own network, your supervision load as we add pre-licensure clinicians. Hours grow as both grow. Full-time here means a full schedule, not a guaranteed 40 hours a week, and you are paid for every hour you actually work.

Supervision time is scheduled and protected. The practice uses Therapy Notes.

We define workload by clinical output, not by hours in a chair. A full workload is either of the following, or any proportional blend of the two:

• - a caseload of 20 sessions per week of your own clinical work; or
• - 10 supervises (interns, associates, or a mix), each carrying a caseload of 15 or more sessions per week.

One supervisee at a full caseload counts the same as two of your own sessions.
