ServiceNow Senior Developer

Talascend is currently seeking a Service Now Senior Developer for a contract opportunity with our client in Glendale, Arizona
.

The ideal candidate must be self‑motivated with a minimum experience of 5‑7 years in Human Resource Service Delivery (HRSD) in Service Now, possessing proficiency in JavaScript, Angular

JS, HTML, CSS, and XML, along with hands‑on experience in Service Now scripting.

• Design and implement Service Now HRSD solutions including HR Case Management, Employee Service Center (ESC), HR Knowledge Management, Lifecycle Events, Document Management, Virtual Agent / Now Assist.
• Hands‑on experience with designing and modifying Service Now forms, workflow, flow designer, scripts, transform maps, web services, inbound email actions, SLAs, scheduled jobs, and other administrative tasks within Service Now.
• Design, code, test, and deliver software using firm‑wide frameworks and best practices for Service Now HRSD.
• Expertise with third‑party integrations such as REST/SOAP APIs to integrate Service Now with other HR systems.
• Execute both minor and major enhancement requests to a client’s Service Now instance(s) related to HRSD, which may involve alterations to the user interface, system properties, foundational content, JavaScript, and adjustments to existing workflows.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Service Now administrative/maintenance activities.
• Build and manage knowledge articles for various audiences in the system.
• Follow and enhance the scrum practices for continuous improvement in team processes.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with Service Now HRSD in an enterprise environment.

• Proficiency in JavaScript, Angular
  
  JS, HTML, CSS, and XML.
• Experience with Business rules, UI Pages, UI Macros, UI Scripts, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Actions, UI Policy, Events, Notifications, View, Reports, etc.
• Service Now Certified System Administrator (CSA).
• The ability to work on multiple projects at the same time and under tight deadlines.
• Strong critical thinking and problem‑solving skills.

• Service Now Certified Implementation Specialist – HRSD.
• Experience with Now Assist / Virtual Agent.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Experience with Service Portal development and troubleshooting.
