THE WORK
The OMS/ALIS Systems Administrator serves as the primary custodian for training system readiness and operational continuity at Luke AFB. This role oversees the full lifecycle of system installations, upgrades, and maintenance while ensuring strict adherence to approved modification kits, trusted facility standards, and established security protocols. By collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, the administrator drives performance improvements, validates system changes, and safeguards the integrity of training data and resources.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Plan and lead the installation, modification, and routine maintenance of training systems, adhering strictly to released modification kits and the Trusted Facility Manual.
Coordinate verification and validation activities for all installations and system modifications.
Collect, analyze, and submit metrics, document system anomalies, and forward relevant data to the appropriate organizations for root cause analysis and corrective action.
Retrieve map data products from the NGA and upload them to MPSE, ensuring timely availability of geospatial information.
Collaborate with cross functional teams to enhance operational performance and configure systems in line with approved guidelines.
Support database administrators with the import, export, transmission, and receipt of training records as needed.
Engage directly with customers and contractors on site to resolve "break/fix" issues, secure authorized access to resources, and guarantee continuous system support for daily academic operations.
Ensure compliance with all established procedures, guidelines, and audit requirements, providing necessary documentation and support throughout the audit process.

Basic Qualifications
3-5 years' experience in Information Technology operations.
Possess a current final Secret security clearance with a re-investigation within the last 6 years.
Must be able to obtain Security + CE certification within 3 months of hire.
Ability to obtain and maintain a F-35 Program Special Access.
Must have demonstrated experience in the following:
Virtualization, VMWare/vSphere, Windows Server 2012, Windows 10 Operating systems, event log management, basic networking, Active Directory administration, personal computer applications, data security administration, SAN hardware, database administration.
Strong oral/written communication skills. Work in a team environment.
