- Lead or participate in high level technical concepts spanning technology and business
- Develop specifications for complex infrastructure systems, design and test solutions
- Contribute to the testing of business, application and technical infrastructure requirements
- Drive solutions to reduce recovery
- Review and analyze solutions for cloud security, secrets management and key rotations
- Design, code, test, debug and document programs using Agile development practices
- Design complex system upgrades
- Resolve troublesome trends as they develop
- Develop a long‑range plan designed to resolve problems and prevent them from recurring
- Direct the daily risk and control flow of operations, focusing on policies, procedures and work standards to ensure success
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- 5+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent, demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 5+ years of Distributed Infrastructure and/or related IT Infrastructure experience
- 5+ years of experience working with products related to Virtualization, Server Infrastructure, Converged/Hyper‑Converged hosting and/or AI/ML Cluster platforms
- Experience with Hypervisors: VMware, Nutanix
- Experience with GPU accelerated compute, Dell XE9680 Power Edge systems
- Operating Systems Knowledge:
Windows, Linux - Experience leading or supporting the design, evaluation, and implementation of complex infrastructure hosting solutions and capabilities
- Experience mentoring high-performing engineers
- Experience with taking software/hardware products and services from inception to customer delivery
- Proven experience transforming to and/or managing infrastructure functions in a product model construct, which would include participation in product roadmap planning and feature/backlog prioritization
- Scripting:
Python, bash, Power Shell, Ansible and integrating with API’s - Skills around automation to include familiarity with VMWare Aria/VRA, Nutanix Calm, Ansible, and similar
- Experience with Infrastructure‑as‑Code delivery and management
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of team on multiple overlapping projects
- Ability to operate effectively in a geographically dispersed organization
- Customer focused, service‑oriented attitude.
