Lead end-to-end sourcing lifecycle activities for complex, high-risk, and strategic Marketing and Public Affairs supplier engagements
Develop and execute category strategies across the Mar Tech stack
Lead Mar Tech stack assessment and rationalization initiatives
Review expiring agreements and identify supplier consolidation, service improvement, cost reduction, and value creation opportunities
Lead supplier negotiations, proposal evaluations, and award recommendations
Negotiate SaaS, consumption-based, AI, commercial, operational, legal, governance, and risk-related contract terms
Draft, review, and manage contract language
Manage strategic supplier relationships throughout the contract lifecycle
Partner with Supplier Management, Third Party Risk Management, Legal, Information Security, Data Privacy, and Finance
Evaluate supplier security, compliance posture, penetration testing requirements, incident response obligations, and AI governance practices
Resolve supplier disputes and address performance or risk concerns
Build relationships with executive leadership, business partners, vendors, and stakeholders
Partner with business units to define requirements, execute RFx events, evaluate suppliers, and support vendor selection
Drive stakeholder alignment on sourcing strategies, supplier recommendations, contract terms, risk decisions, and implementation plans
Coordinate sourcing initiatives across multiple business groups
Ensure contracts and sourcing activities comply with legal, regulatory, and corporate requirements
Lead regulatory compliance and sourcing process improvement projects
Track and report sourcing progress, realized value, risk considerations, and implementation readiness
Provide guidance, coaching, and subject matter expertise to less experienced sourcing professionals, Buyers, and business partners
Educate stakeholders on sourcing, contracting, supplier management, and risk policies and processes
Serve as a trusted advisor on Mar Tech vendor trends, pricing benchmarks, and AI capability adoption

Requirements

5+ years of Sourcing, Procurement experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
5+ years of experience drafting, reviewing, interpreting, and negotiating complex commercial contracts
Comprehensive sourcing and contract negotiation experience supporting Marketing and Public Affairs categories
Category expertise across the enterprise Mar Tech landscape
Experience sourcing customer data platforms and marketing data infrastructure
Knowledge of digital media and AdTech supply chains
Experience negotiating AI and generative AI provisions in supplier agreements
Proven success leading end-to-end strategic sourcing engagements and supplier negotiations within a large, complex, highly regulated organization
Ability to advise stakeholders on supplier strategy, contract structure, sourcing approach, Mar Tech stack rationalization, risk considerations, and supplier performance
Strong commercial, financial, benchmarking, and spend analysis capabilities
Ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders, including Legal, Risk, Finance, Technology, Information Security, Third Party Risk Management, and senior business leaders
Knowledge of banking regulations, third-party risk management, supplier governance, and data privacy regulations including GLBA, CCPA/CPRA, and GDPR
Proficiency with strategic sourcing, procurement, and contract lifecycle management tools, including Ariba, RFx processes, e-auction platforms, spend analytics, and benchmarking tools
Excellent relationship-building, communication, and influencing skills
Strong project management, time management, analytical, and organizational skills
