American Leadership Academy is now accepting applications for an Athletic Director for the academic year for our West Foothills High School campus located in Waddell, Arizona. Candidates must possess, or be willing to obtain, a valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance card.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Works with District Athletic Director and Campus Director to oversee all Athletic programs offered at the campus and recommend processes, strategies, and methods regarding the development and maintenance of effective sports programs.
Ensure the campus's athletic program aligns with ALA and ALA policies, regulations, and guidelines.
Assist with interviewing coaches and athletic staff.
Work with teachers to improve their teaching practice through coaching, professional development, modeling, and collaborative planning.
Evaluate teachers and coaches and monitor performance through formal and informal evaluations.
Participate in PLC's to review student data, growth and academic needs.
Resolve concerns and respond to inquiries regarding athletic programs or that may arise between stakeholders including parents, athletes, and coaching staff.
Develop athletic schedules for games, practices, camps, and other applicable activities.
Order and purchase athletic equipment and supply for the campus.
Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree
At least three years' experience in a 7-12 environment
Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree
Five years' experience in a 7-12 environment
Previous experience in athletic administration
