Assembly& Test Operator II Position Summary/Essential Functions
With direct guidance in a team environment, responsible for routine assembling/testing, lock wiring and final product detailing functions. Perform basic assembly and test functions utilizing mechanical skills, hand and power tools, mechanical/electronic tools, test equipment, assembly fixtures and inspection measurement equipment in a production environment.
Responsibilities- Required to hand deburr.
- Ensure all equipment is calibrated in accordance with calibration schedule.
- Produce and inspect assemblies for complete conformance to specification.
- Rework malfunctions disclosed by test data.
- Record test results on data forms.
- Interpret blueprints, engineering orders, assembly routes, test specifications and quality directives.
- Observe all safety rules and maintain a foreign object damage (FOD) free work area.
- May be required to run automatic weld machine.
- Perform other related responsibilities.
- HS diploma or equivalent.
- 1-3 years assembly/test or related experience or demonstrated ability to perform the described responsibilities.
- Must demonstrate manual dexterity.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Must be able to read and understand blueprints.
- Working knowledge of machine shop mathematics.
- Must demonstrate effective English verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team player.
