Monday through Friday, 5:00 AM start time, 8–10 hours per day, with occasional overtime as needed

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and safety-focused Chemical Forklift Operator to join our team. Our company specializes in handling essential chemicals, such as liquid chlorine and caustic soda, which are vital for water treatment plants in ensuring safe and clean water. The ideal candidate will have strong sit-down forklift experience, an excellent attendance record, and a willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities over time.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate sit-down forklifts to safely transport liquid chlorine, caustic soda, and other materials within the facility
  • Paint gas and liquid cylinders to meet company and regulatory standards
  • Safely handle and assist in processes involving chemicals used for water treatment applications
  • Follow strict safety protocols due to the hazardous nature of chemicals handled
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, always adhering to safety guidelines
  • Support team operations as needed and respond positively to new duties and assignments
  • Stay flexible and eager to learn new skills and processes as job requirements evolve
Qualifications:
  • Proven sit-down forklift experience; certification preferred
  • Excellent attendance record, reliability, and punctuality
  • Strong interest in learning and expanding job responsibilities
  • Safety-first mindset, especially when working with hazardous materials
  • Ability to follow precise written and verbal instructions
  • Willingness to work as part of a team and adapt to changing duties
  • Experience with gas or liquid cylinders and valves is a plus, but not required
