Assembly & Test Operator - 2nd Shift

Assembly & Test Operator – 2nd shift (Monday – Friday, 3pm – 11pm)

With direct guidance in a team environment, responsible for routine assembling/testing, lock wiring and final product detailing functions. Perform basic assembly and test functions utilizing mechanical skills, hand and power tools, mechanical/electronic tools, test equipment, assembly fixtures and inspection measurement equipment in a production environment.

• Hand deburr.
• Ensure all equipment is calibrated in accordance with the calibration schedule.
• Produce and inspect assemblies for complete conformance to specifications.
• Rework malfunctions disclosed by test data.
• Record test results on data forms.
• Interpret blueprints, engineering orders, assembly routes, test specifications and quality directives.
• Observe all safety rules and maintain a foreign‑object‑damage (FOD) free work area.
• May run an automatic weld machine.
• Perform other related responsibilities.

• HS diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of assembly/test or related experience, or demonstrated ability to perform the responsibilities described.
• Demonstrated manual dexterity.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Read and understand blueprints.
• Working knowledge of machine‑shop mathematics.
• Effective English verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team player.

Tools Use:
Calibrated tools, hand tools, inspection tools. Equipment & Machine Use:
Welding, machining, inspection, assembly & test, NDT. General office equipment & computer. Lifting: 50 lb. Positions:
Standing, lifting, walking, climbing, sitting. Pulling, pushing, cramped or confined spaces. Work Conditions: fumes, noise, grease, oil, water, dust, shavings, dirt, heat, smoke, vibration, office.
