Assembly & Test Operator - 2nd Shift

Assembly & Test Operator - 2nd shift (Monday - Friday, 3pm - 11p) Position Summary/

Essential Functions:

With direct guidance in a team environment, responsible for routine assembling/testing, lock wiring and final product detailing functions. Perform basic assembly and test functions utilizing mechanical skills, hand and power tools, mechanical/electronic tools, test equipment, assembly fixtures and inspection measurement equipment in a production environment. Responsibilities:
* Required to hand deburr.
* Ensure all equipment is calibrated in accordance with calibration schedule.
* Produce and inspect assemblies for complete conformance to specification.
* Rework malfunctions disclosed by test data.
* Record test results on data forms.
* Interpret blueprints, engineering orders, assembly routes, test specifications and quality directives.
* Observe all safety rules and maintain a foreign object damage (FOD) free work area.
* May be required to run automatic weld machine.
* Perform other related responsibilities.

Qualifications:

* HS diploma or equivalent.
* 1-3 years assembly/test or related experience or demonstrated ability to perform the described responsibilities.
* Must demonstrate manual dexterity.
* Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
* Must be able to read and understand blueprints.
* Working knowledge of machine shop mathematics.
* Must demonstrate effective English verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team player.
