Assembly & Test Operator - 1st shift (Monday - Friday, 3pm - 11p)

With direct guidance in a team environment, you will be responsible for routine assembling/testing, lock wiring and final product detailing functions. Perform basic assembly and test functions utilizing mechanical skills, hand and power tools, mechanical/electronic tools, test equipment, assembly fixtures and inspection measurement equipment in a production environment.

• Hand deburr
• Ensure all equipment is calibrated according to the calibration schedule
• Produce and inspect assemblies for complete conformance to specification
• Rework malfunctions disclosed by test data
• Record test results on data forms
• Interpret blueprints, engineering orders, assembly routes, test specifications and quality directives
• Observe all safety rules and maintain a foreign object damage (FOD) free work area
• May be required to run automatic weld machine
• Perform other related responsibilities

• HS diploma or equivalent
• 1-3 years assembly/test or related experience or demonstrated ability to perform the described responsibilities
• Must demonstrate manual dexterity
• Must be able to read and understand blueprints
• Must demonstrate effective English verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations
• Working knowledge of machine shop mathematics
• Ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team player
