Summary: House Manager is responsible for performing essential care for our members in our group homes. This is a safety sensitive position.

Essential FunctionsTo oversee the daily operation and staff of three traditional group homes located in the East Valley. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Reports to the Traditional/DTA Operations Manager and to the Assistant Traditional Operations Manager. Health benefits after 60 days.
1. Responsibilities for Residents- Attending and preparing for ISP meetings and attending ISPs per request of the Group Home Manager or Assistant Director.
- Maintain ongoing communication with parents and guardians and DDDS Support Coordinators.
- Conduct weekly Resident File audits to maintain accurate, complete, and comprehensive resident files.
- Ensure resident files are complete and updated with all current information.
- Ensure all applicable regulations/standards are adhered to at all times.
- Report all incident reports immediately to the Program Coordinator and COO.
- Ensure residents' personal belongings, wheelchairs, and equipment are clean and ready for use.
- Provide transportation as required for appointments, outings, etc.
- Report all changes of conditions regarding residents to the Program Coordinator and Director of Residential Services.
- Transport residents to Doctor Appointments and coordinate follow-up communication regarding doctor appointments.
- Complete Medication Administration Records (MARs) before the 1st of every month; verify MAR against physician orders and medication labels.
- Complete PCSP goals forms for members to be ready before the 1st of the month.
- Ensure all required consents are signed by the appropriate guardian/parent.
- Perform duties following safety standards required for this position, including PPE usage where applicable.
- Complete staffing schedules for group home personnel and ensure proper client-to-staff ratios.
- Provide additional shift coverage as needed for callouts.
- Ensure all group home staff accurately complete required shift documentation daily.
- Train with Program Coordinator all new/existing Direct Support Professionals (DSPs).
- Assist in ensuring all employees maintain compliance with the job description and company directives.
- Be flexible in hours worked to assist with shift coverage as needed.
- Conduct weekly walkthroughs of the home and assist with surveys and monitoring readiness.
- Maintenance of Group Home Budgets including groceries, client funds, and petty cash.
- Maintain Group Home van including routine maintenance, current registration, and daily/weekly checks.

- Must be able to pass and maintain Article 9 and Prevention and Support within 90 days of hire.
- Must maintain CPR/First Aid certification as applicable.
- Must have or be capable of obtaining a Class 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card.
- Provide for the safety, emotional, and physical needs of all members.
- Ensure members are clean, well-groomed, and dressed age-appropriately for season and conditions.
- Transportation to and from day program as needed.
- Positioning every 1 hour while awake and every 2 hours while asleep, as needed.
- Assist with cooking meals and eating as needed.
- Ensure daily emotional and physical stimulation for members.
- Assist with showering to ensure complete hygiene as needed.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must be able to maintain a Class 1 fingerprint clearance card.
