Travel RN – Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU)

Location: Glendale, AZ

Shift: 3x12 hr days

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 13 weeks

Pay: $2,365 per week

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Degree from an accredited nursing program
• BLS & ACLS certification
• At least 18 months recent experience in an Acute Care CVICU setting

The CVICU registered nurse (RN) administers medications, checks vital signs, and alerts physicians of any major changes in a patient’s condition. The RN serves as a liaison between physicians and patients, ensuring each patient’s welfare and effectively communicating with families. The RN is responsible for daily care, promoting recovery and comfort.

• Administer care for patients following open-heart surgery.
• Manage treatment and care of heart transplant patients.
• Educate patients’ families on ongoing needs and care.
