Position: Advanced Practice Provider (APP)

Nurse Practitioner – Pain Management

Glendale, AZ | Part-Time

AZ Pain Doctors is seeking a compassionate and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our growing Pain Management practice in Glendale. This role is essential to delivering high-quality care to patients throughout Arizona.

The ideal candidate will have experience evaluating and managing chronic pain conditions, developing treatment plans, and providing excellent patient-centered care in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct patient evaluations, physical exams, and imaging reviews
  • Diagnose and manage chronic pain conditions
  • Order and interpret diagnostic testing
  • Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with practice guidelines
  • Educate patients on treatment plans and diagnostic results
  • Maintain timely, accurate EMR documentation
  • Respond to patient questions and care-related messages
  • Collaborate with physicians regarding interventional pain management procedures
Qualifications
  • Active Arizona Nurse Practitioner license in good standing
  • Active DEA and CDS licenses
  • Previous Nurse Practitioner experience preferred
  • Pain management or outpatient clinic experience preferred
  • EMR proficiency and familiarity with Microsoft Office (E-Clinical Works experience a plus)
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
Schedule & Benefits
  • 7:00 AM–5:00 PM, Two days a week (Days of the week TBD)
  • No nights or weekends

Skills and Qualifications
  • Valid licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Certification in relevant specialties (e.g., pain management, neurology) preferred
  • Proven experience in pain management, neurology, or spine care
  • Strong clinical assessment and procedural skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care
  • Knowledge of electronic health record systems and documentation standards
