Labor and Delivery Nurse
This position is scheduled for 36 hours per week, working from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. Candidates are guaranteed a minimum of 24 hours per week.
The Labor and Delivery Nurse will provide high-quality care to patients during labor and delivery. This role involves monitoring patient health, assisting with childbirth, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist with labor and delivery processes.
- Monitor patient's vital signs and fetal heart rates.
- Provide education and support to patients and families.
- Document patient care activities accurately.
- Work collaboratively with obstetricians and healthcare team members.
Required experience/certifications/licensure include:
- Minimum of 24 months of Labor and Delivery experience, with recent practice in the last 12 months.
- Must possess valid life support certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AFM from approved vendors.
- No hits on state license to practice.
- Driver's license required to verify residency.
- Travel experience is highly preferred.
