Travel Nurse RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit

Travel Nursing Position: ICU RN in Glendale, AZ.

Shift: 12‑hour nights;

• Evaluate and monitor patients in an ICU setting.
• Document physician‑directed care and implement patient care plans.
• Delegate to other care providers as appropriate.
• Provide education and support to patient families, including long‑term care needs.
• Perform basic bedside care.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medication, reporting any adverse reactions.
• Order and evaluate diagnostic tests, including lab work.
• Monitor and adjust specialized equipment and interpret electronic displays.
• Ensure proper placement and functioning of catheters, leads and tubing.
• Communicate patients’ conditions to family members.

• BLS and ACLS certifications (minimum of 2 years of experience).
• Minimum 1–2 years of recent acute care experience.
• Ability to stand, walk and bend for long periods, and lift up to 20 pounds routinely (may lift up to 50 pounds).
• Ability to handle hazards from chemicals or infectious diseases.

Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Pay package: based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation). Tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
