Requirements:

• Associate's Degree or Diploma in Nursing or higher required.
• Current, valid RN license in state of practice, temporary RN license in state of practice, or compact RN licensure for current state of practice.
• BLS and ACLS required.
• PALS certification required within 90 days of start date if assigned to pediatric services.
• Minimum one year licensed RN experience in OR or two years licensed RN experience in OR for PRN roles.
• Licensed RN with no experience in OR must be enrolled in Peri Op
  101 program with successful completion within 4 months.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assess patient needs, including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural, and discharge planning needs.
• Formulate and implement a plan of care based on assessment data and patient-specific needs.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to update and revise care plans as patient needs change.
• Provide direct patient care and supervise the activities of the healthcare team.
• Evaluate patient responses to care and modify the plan of care as needed.
• Document all aspects of patient care to ensure compliance with healthcare standards.
