At least 1 year of PCU nursing experience is needed. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required. Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is important. Recommended skills include strong assessment abilities, adaptability, and effective communication.
