Banner Thunderbird Medical Center - BTMC (Glendale, AZ)
Clinical Care Operations (CCO) Med Surg Unit is the hub of patient management for the campus, providing relief staffing to clinical departments/units, bed assignment, unit staffing, house supervision, and emergency preparedness. Several employee groups report to CCO, including clinical positions such as RN House Supervisors, SWAT RNs, and the Resource Team (RN, CNA/PCA, HUC, and BHT), plus non-clinical roles (Transport, Dispatch, Placement Liaisons, and more).
We support the whole hospital’s staffing needs so if any of the departments are short, we fill in and this position will be floating in Med Surg, Observation & PCU as needed.
Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of acute care nursing assistant experience, current BLS (AHA) certification, and exhibit the 3 E's

FULL-TIME NIGHT SHIFTS AVAILABLE (3
-12 hour shifts a week from 6:00pm-6:30am)You can utilize our self-scheduling tool for shift and weekend coverage. There are no set days you can be scheduled each week.
Weekend and Holiday rotations are required in this role
- Every other weekend (Fri, Sat)Enjoy a flat rate $1/hour weekend shift differential and an 18%-Night Shift differential when applicable

POSITION SUMMARY
This position provides routine patient care to promote patient comfort and contribute to the overall patient plan of care. This position is responsible for on-going patient data collection and documentation in the medical records and provides a variety of unit support functions which contribute to the overall efficient operation of the nursing unit/department.

1. Provides assistance in activities of daily living and completes necessary tasks to promote patient health, including assisting patients with basic hygiene needs, maintaining an optimum level of mobility and providing assistance with nutritional intake as needed.
