Critical Care Float Pool Registered Nurse (RN)
Available shifts include days and nights: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM.
Minimum of 0 years of experience; less than one year acceptable. Preferred: 2 years of experience as an RN in pediatric critical care. Experience in a Level III or IV NICU setting preferred. Experience in a children's hospital setting preferred.
Two-year (ADN) degree in nursing, a four-year degree (BSN) in nursing, or a diploma in nursing.
Current State of Arizona RN license or eligibility for licensure in Arizona. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association. Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from the American Heart Association. Current Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
The Critical Care Float Pool Registered Nurse (RN) will work collaboratively with the healthcare team, patients, and families to enhance patient health through the delivery of professional nursing care. This role involves providing nursing care appropriate to the patient's age and condition, as documented in nursing and medical plans of care and aligned with evidence-based practices and regulatory standards.
This position may require floating between multiple locations, including:
Phoenix, AZ Glendale, AZ Avondale, AZ Gilbert, AZ.
COVID-19 vaccination is recommended but not required. A flu vaccination is required from October through April, with the option for exemptions. Unvaccinated individuals must sign Declination & Masking Protocol agreements and wear masks throughout the respiratory virus season. Holiday coverage may be required.
