Med Tech

Human Good community is seeking a compassionate Part-Time Med Tech to support residents in our nonprofit senior living community. In this role, you will safely administer medications, follow physician orders, document accurately, and monitor residents' condition and comfort. You'll collaborate with nurses and care teams, assist with basic care and daily activities, and respond to emergencies. This position offers a mission-driven, resident-focused environment where you can build skills, receive training, and make a meaningful impact on the lives of older adults every shift.

Responsibilities

• Administer oral, topical, and other authorized medications per physician orders and community policies
• Accurately document medication administration, refusals, and resident status in EHR or MAR Monitor residents for side effects, changes in condition, and report concerns to licensed nurses
• Assist residents with basic activities of daily living as needed, supporting dignity and independence
• Follow infection control, safety, and fall prevention protocols at all times
• Respond promptly to call lights and emergencies, following established procedures
• Maintain secure medication storage, perform counts, and support inventory management
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the care team to support care plans
• Support a mission-driven, resident-focused culture of respect, compassion, and inclusion
• Participate in ongoing training, competency checks, and quality improvement activities
