American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Level III Labor & Delivery position requiring recent high-risk L&D experience and current AZ or compact RN licensure.

• Level III maternity center with 14 labor and delivery beds, a 6-bed triage department, and a 4-6 bed antepartum department
• Facility averages 275-300 births per month
• Cares for high-risk antepartum patients including PPROM, Vasa Previa, Placenta Previa, and Diabetes Management
• Cares for high-risk intrapartum patients including Gestational Diabetes, Gestational and Chronic Hypertension, Pre-Eclampsia, and Blood Disorders
• Provides immediate postpartum care for mother and neonate
• Assists with pre-operative, circulating, and recovery care for cesarean section deliveries
• Collaborates with 24-hour in-house OBGYN, Neonatologists, NNPs, and multidisciplinary team
• Schedule of 3x12-hour shifts (19:00-07:30), totaling 36 expected weekly hours
• Must be open to work any day of the week as self-scheduling is not available
• Cerner EMR experience required and must be listed in employment history

• Active AZ or compact RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Level III L&D experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
• AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification required
• Experience circulating and recovering cesarean section deliveries required
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Prior experience as an L&D traveler preferred
• Driver's license required for consideration
• Date of birth and Social Security Number required for consideration

• Opportunity to utilize and expand clinical skills across a wide range of maternal acuity in a collaborative environment
• Must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility
• RTO requests should be kept to less than 7 days
• Returning permanent employees must obtain approval prior to consideration
