BOUTIQUE OPERATIONS ASSOCIATE

We are looking for a Boutique Operations Associate who is passionate about providing the highest standards of service and will be trained to be well‑rounded in all activities within the Boutique. These individuals will be the experts on all Standard Operating Procedures, systems, and tools and will work closely with boutique leaders to impart critical business knowledge. This role is crucial to the success of the operations within the Boutique – supporting all areas and ultimately impacting the client experience.

• Uphold operational standards and processes to deliver the ultimate CHANEL client experience.
• Be the ultimate expert on all Standard Operating Procedures, Systems and Tools to act as a resource for the entire Boutique Team.
• Deliver exceptional customer service based on CHANEL’s service mantra, including welcoming and greeting all clients, and hosting.
• Support daily operations including opening and closing of registers, incoming and outgoing shipments, damages, stock and restock needs.
• Understand inventory management processes.
• Maintain organized and controlled stock storage system; process received stock and record it into the system.
• Communicate inventory and supply needs to Boutique Director/Assistant Boutique Manager.
• Partner with Assistant Boutique Manager to execute the stock cycle count program and annual physical inventory.
• Uphold an omni‑channel mindset to directly benefit the client, producing a seamless experience from in‑store to online and vice versa.
• Co‑ownership of all brand image, hygiene standards and visual merchandising requirements.
• Be a brand ambassador by providing continuous sales and service support.
• Build positive team relationships throughout the boutique to inspire trust and teamwork.

• Ability to thrive in a team environment and work collaboratively.
• Understanding of, and passion for client experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Foreign language skills preferred but not required.
• Curiosity and desire to learn and grow professionally within the CHANEL world.

• 3+ years of related experience.
• Ability to move heavy items – may include overhead lifting, pulling, and pushing items up to 25 lbs.
• Flexible schedule with the ability to work late nights, weekends, and some holidays.
• Experience in the fragrance & beauty industry preferred.
• In‑store presence required for opening and closing the boutique, receiving inventory, and shipping product to support sales.

• Anticipated base range: $24.30 – $30.23 per hour. Base hourly is one component of the total compensation. Other forms of variable pay, bonus potential, benefits, and/or perks may be offered.
