Role Description The Cosmetics Brand Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at the Dillard’s store in Glendale, AZ. This role oversees daily operations of assigned cosmetics brands, including managing product assortments, merchandising displays, inventory levels, and visual standards to drive sales and profitability. The Cosmetics Brand Manager coaches and develops beauty advisors, monitors individual and team performance, and ensures a customer‑centric culture through active selling, product demonstrations, and personalized consultations.

Responsibilities also include planning and executing in-store events and promotions with brand partners, analyzing sales reports and KPIs, and adjusting strategies to meet targets. The role collaborates closely with store leadership and cosmetics vendors to maintain brand guidelines, ensure proper stock and tester maintenance, uphold cleanliness and safety standards, and support an inclusive, welcoming environment for all customers and team members.

• Experience in cosmetics, beauty, or retail management, with strong skills in sales leadership, team coaching, and performance management.
• Proficiency in merchandising and visual presentation, including maintaining impactful displays, managing stock levels, and executing brand standards.
• Strong customer service and clienteling skills, including building long‑term relationships, conducting product consultations, and handling issues with professionalism.
• Analytical abilities to interpret sales data, track KPIs, forecast demand, and adjust strategies based on performance insights.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with store leadership, brand representatives, and cross‑functional partners.
• Organizational and time‑management skills to balance floor leadership, event execution, administrative tasks, and training activities.
• Comfort with basic retail technology and POS systems, as well as the ability to learn brand‑specific tools and reporting platforms.
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and reliability, with a commitment to fostering a respectful, inclusive workplace and customer experience.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
• Previous experience in cosmetics or beauty advisory roles and a passion for skincare, fragrance, and makeup trends are strongly preferred.
