Property Management Accountant

Operational Accountants provide services to AMC’s clients, including auditing, budgeting, and other financial management tasks. This position will work specifically with properties using the Yardi platform and requires an expert-level user to complete all tasks.

• Research and analyze Yardi functionality
• Manage W-9s with third-party vendors
• Enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and procedures
• Complete and coordinate annual audits
• Verify escrow taxes, insurance, and process client’s monthly mortgage and other expenses
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations, financials, prelims, and final process approvals
• Conduct monthly and quarterly audits
• Prepare, review, and sign draws
• Communicate explanations on balance sheet items with clients
• Assist operations with AP processes and questions

• Knowledge of the property management industry
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and meet deadlines
• Ability to maintain organization
• Strong attention to detail and adept in mathematics
• Ability to maintain a positive working relationship with internal and external points of contact

Full‑Time $70,000.00 to $72,500.00 per year
