Job Overview

Manage the overall day‑to‑day operations of the store's e‑Commerce department to achieve sales objectives, goals, and budgets. Responsible for staffing the department and developing associates to achieve desired results.

• Ensure the store e‑Commerce department meets or exceeds customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness, and cleanliness.
• Interview, select, and hire candidates to staff the online shopping department.
• Meet product flow demands and create schedules according to guidelines.
• Develop associates to meet productivity standards and certify them once they exceed goals.
• Confirm associates follow local, state, and federal laws, food safety procedures, and company guidelines.
• Train associates on all functions of the order selector and customer attendant roles.
• Lead the team in planning, implementation, and execution of e‑Commerce initiatives.
• Achieve or exceed weekly, periodic, and annual sales, wage budgets, and other targeted goals, including customer satisfaction leading to repeat sales.
• Assist in analyzing and responding to the competitive landscape.
• Ensure orders are filled with requested products or comparable substitutes in a timely and effective manner.
• Execute best practices for substitutions when items are out of stock.
• Streamline the collection of orders, products, checkout, and delivery processes.
• Report inventory and equipment issues to department heads in a timely manner.
• Provide feedback to store management, district manager, field specialist, coordinators, and division e‑Commerce manager on operational plan effectiveness.
• Report items with shelf allocation issues to the division KOMPASS team.
• Monitor and control department expenses.
• Ensure preventative maintenance of all equipment.
• Supervise and coach direct reports, complete performance reviews, and provide feedback.
• Work cooperatively in high‑paced, sometimes stressful environments and manage conflict reasonably.
• Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
• Assist minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults as required.
• Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Minimum:
  High School Diploma or GED.
• Proven supervisory experience.
• Prior experience in selection and hiring processes.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods, walk constantly, stoop, kneel, or crouch several times per hour.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Desired:
  Bachelor's Degree.
• Experience with and knowledge of Point of Sale (POS) systems.
