Do you have a knack for helping people, following recipes and organization? Our Bakery/Packager associates prepare fresh baked items daily for our members through following recipes, wrapping, labeling, and storing merchandise to ensure our members have the freshest items available to take home. You will juggle several tasks in a short time while helping members with bakery orders. It’s hard work, but our bakery team finds it rewarding, especially as part of a large team with a common goal: happy, satisfied members.

• Collaborate with other associates to build a strong bakery team; communicate with team members and be flexible to business needs, including working in other areas.
• Prepare bakery department merchandise based on daily production needs by operating baking equipment, following recipes and make‑up instructions, wrapping, labeling, and storing merchandise according to company policies; ensure compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management; operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment; demonstrate understanding of product and layout execution.
• Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; utilize handheld technology for immediate business decisions related to production, merchandise ordering, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them.
• Ensure commitment to operational excellence, maintaining work area according to company policies; ensure quality and date‑control standards for bakery items; secure fragile and high‑shrink merchandise; eliminate waste; assist members with purchasing decisions; ensure merchandise is properly packaged, labeled, and stored according to policy.
• Advocate for the department and the club by valuing the member's experience and modeling high‑quality service and products; execute basics at highest possible level of quality; exhibit energy, commitment, and passion for the work.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity; use the Open Door Policy and apply in executing business processes and practices.
• Complete work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co‑workers, customers, and other business partners; identify priorities, deadlines, expectations; carry out tasks; communicate progress; determine and recommend ways to address improvement opportunities; adapt and learn from change, difficulties, and feedback.
