Job Summary
As an Assistant Manager you help drive profitability through customer connections, brand loyalty and community engagement. You provide feedback and coaching to the sales team to maximize performance and collaborate with leadership to adapt strategies and ensure operational support.
Responsibilities- Support Store Director & Associate Store Manager to impact business results and maximize profitability.
- Own designated division of responsibility (Visual Merchandising, Operations, HR, Service & Selling, etc.).
- Manage store operations, systems, and technology while ensuring accountability.
- Assist with recruiting, training and development efforts, if needed.
- Partner in creating a collaborative working environment for associates.
- Ensure the team meets or exceeds goals and provides best‑in‑class customer service.
- Lead fit sessions to boost product knowledge for associates.
- Develop innovative ways to engage the community and build loyalty through events.
- Step into a variety of roles on the sales floor as needed.
- 1‑2 years of retail management experience with a similar scope.
- Passionate support of the brand, customers, and teams.
- Knowledge of current fashion trends and industry developments.
- Strong teamwork, flexibility, courtesy and problem‑solving skills.
- Scheduling flexibility, including nights, weekends and holidays.
- Physical ability to bend, reach, stretch, lift, carry and move at least 40 pounds (18 kilos).
- Hourly range: $17.75 - $22.30.
- Variable pay: competitive base pay and bonus programs.
