Compensation & Benefits
Hourly pay ranges from $15.29 to $22.88 per hour, varying with location and experience. Part‑time employment (29hours per week) has a minimum base rate of $17.18 per hour and a targeted commission of $639 per month, for an expected total compensation of approximately $33,575 annually, including an annual incentive/commission target of $7,674.00.
What You’ll Do- Explain and demonstrate product capabilities and make product suggestions based on customer wants and needs.
- Meet or exceed targets for customer experience, sales, and retention.
- Assist with opening/closing the retail store.
- Handle cash appropriately.
- Engage in workshops, special events, and product demos.
- Support fellow sales agents when needed.
- Continuously expand knowledge of Cox products and competitor offerings through regular training.
- May be required to work in other locations within the same geographical area.
- High school diploma, GED, or up to 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Ability to meet established sales, retention, and customer experience targets.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for consultative, solutions‑based selling.
- Ability to build relationships with a diverse customer base.
- Ability to multi‑task and prioritize in a fast‑paced, service‑oriented team environment.
- Physical stamina to stand and move around the store for extended periods.
- Computer literacy and ability to learn communication products and services.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Ability to lift 25–50 pounds to manage stock room inventory.
- Preferred:
Some college coursework in sales, business, or management; one year of experience in related fields (sales, retail sales, service industry); experience selling wireless/mobile products; fluency in Spanish.
