Cardiovascular Specialist, Health and Science Professional - San Diego E, CA

Cardiology Health & Science Professional (HSP) responsible for increasing territory sales and developing relationships with assigned customers, promoting product and leveraging strengths to meet Pfizer business objectives.

• Drive sales in assigned territory.
• Engage customers both face‑to‑face and virtually.
• Develop and implement effective business and territory call plans; identify and execute live/virtual engagement strategies.
• Build rapport and relationships with customers in both live and virtual environments; use judgment to maintain engagement via digital tools.
• Leverage internal reports and analytics to identify, develop, and implement strategic business opportunities.
• Educate providers on product and disease state value proposition, ensuring compliant use of approved disease information and patient resources.
• Collaborate effectively across the organization to address customer inquiries and advance Pfizer objectives.
• Complete all administrative expectations on time and compliantly.

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in professional sales, promotional activity, small business ownership, marketing, customer service, account management, or full‑time military; or higher degree with equivalent experience.
• Must live within 25 miles of the territory border.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and compliant driving record; DUI/DWI within the past 7 years disqualifies.

• 1 year of pharmaceutical, biotech, medical sales and/or medical‑related marketing.
• Track record of sales or marketing success, territory management skills, outstanding communication, teamwork, leadership and accountability.
• Experience with relevant disease states, therapeutic area, and products.
• Knowledge of posted territory customers and markets (prescribers/HCPs/institutions/organizations).
• Reside within the territory boundaries.

• Territory:
  East San Diego, El Centro, and Yuma, AZ.
• Base salary range: $76,000 - $199,600. Initial hires are non‑exempt with overtime, become exempt after training. Quarterly sales incentive bonus available.
• Benefits include 401(k) with matching, retirement contributions, paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave; health benefits covering medical, prescription, dental and vision coverage.
