Multimedia Account Executive

WZMQ 19 is a trusted, local media leader delivering impactful content across television and digital platforms. Power Play, our cutting-edge digital product, allows us to offer comprehensive advertising solutions that help local businesses grow and thrive. We are looking for a driven and creative Multimedia Account Executive to join our team and help us build strong partnerships across Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.

• Develop and execute strategies to consistently grow advertising revenue across both WZMQ 19 and Power Play
• Build and maintain strong, consultative relationships with local business owners and decision-makers
• Identify new business opportunities through proactive prospecting and networking
• Make regular sales calls on current and prospective clients
• Create and present tailored multimedia advertising solutions using both television and digital platforms
• Educate clients on how WZMQ 19 and Power Play can effectively promote their products and services
• Prepare customized advertising proposals, negotiate rates and finalize advertising contracts
• Coordinate ad scheduling and creative production with internal teams
• Consistently meet or exceed individual revenue goals

• Professional Certificates, Associates, and/or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum of one year in sales. Media or advertising experience preferred.
• Strong presentation, communication and negotiation skills
• A proactive and goal-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently
• Familiarity with digital advertising tools and performance metrics is a plus
• Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and general office equipment
