** Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Unit

** Glendale, AZ** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will assist guests and store teams with clear communication, report concerns, and support a welcoming shopping experience.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and notifying appropriate personnel.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail and entertainment location, including interior common areas, entrances, corridors, and perimeter areas as assigned.

+ Monitor for and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations, and complete accurate written reports and shift logs per Allied Universal requirements.

+ Support access control and crowd management as needed, including observing entry points, assisting with line flow, and/or helping guide guests to appropriate resources.

* + A guard card/license is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
