Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Unit in Glendale, AZ

As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will assist guests and store teams with clear communication, report concerns, and support a welcoming shopping experience. At Allied Universal, you will work with an agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first and leads with integrity.

Pay Rate: $23.50 / Hour

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail and entertainment location, including interior common areas, entrances, corridors, and perimeter areas as assigned.
• Monitor for and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations, and complete accurate written reports and shift logs per Allied Universal requirements.
• Support access control and crowd management as needed, including observing entry points, assisting with line flow, and/or helping guide guests to appropriate resources.

• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
