What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial property location.

* Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with property management and/or emergency personnel as needed.

* Conduct regular and random patrols throughout building interiors, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.

* Monitor access points, observe visitor and vendor activity, and report maintenance, lighting, and/or property condition issues that could impact daily operations.

* Support property operations by following post orders, preparing clear incident reports, and assisting with direction, information, and other customer service needs during routine and elevated activity.

Minimum Requirements:

* At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

* A guard card and/or license is preferred.

* Customer service experience is preferred.

* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
